Find what the contact email address(es) is for the domain registrant and domain administrator (This MAY BE DIFFERENT from your contact email on file for your account with the registrar!).
Verify that you do have access to that contact email address account for the domain registrant and administrator.

DO NOT UPDATE the contact email address on file for the domain! That change would lock your domain at the current registrar for 60 days. You could lose your domain or have to pay hefty renewal fees for something you no longer want.
You MUST gain access to that email account, or you may hand over the domain prep process to us below (With most registrars, we are able to negotiate around no email access or the 60 day lock).
